I was the lead designer for Yankee 2021, which switched from an in-person event to a virtual one part-way through the year. I created the theme design, worked on digital flipbooks of promotional literature, designed in HTML within an existing virtual platform, and created social media videos and email artwork.
2021 Theme was created from vector shapes that I drew and a stock photograph used to give the shapes texture and depth.

I worked on a variety of printed and digital promotional materials for Yankee 2020, including a 28-page Exhibitor Prospectus, 92-page Program Book, 36-page Advance Planner, 74-page On-Site Guide, as well as a variety of digital promotions, signage, and a set of escape room puzzles for the show floor. I got to create the puzzles myself, which was a fun project. I also created the Roaring 2020s design for the opening night party.
2020 Theme design and Roaring 2020s design were created by editing and combining various pieces of vector stock art.

Yankee 2019 was my first year taking the lead, after the former Senior Designer's retirement. In addition to creating the inspiring innovation theme, I designed digital signage, brochures, mailers, and worked on some promotional website and social media graphics. I was also responsible for showing a newly hired and less experienced designer the ropes and guiding her to successful project completion. I was responsible for building all template files, creating unique designs for the Dueling Pianos opening night party, as well as making final design adjustments before pieces went to print.
We successfully completed a 28-page Exhibitor Prospectus, 100-page Program Book, 36-page Advanced Planner and 78-page On-Site Guide, as well as numerous pieces of signage and digital promotional artwork.
The 2019 Theme and Dueling Pianos design used some stock components, which were edited and combined to create something new and different.

My first Yankee: the theme Raising the Bar was already created by an agency at the time I was hired, so I worked with the logo and theme assets that they had started. I built the program book template, created a new design for both the Boardwalk Bash opening night party and CE Recharged, and worked on direct mailers and signage.

This booth was built from Orbital Trusses and is an enclosed rectangle, allowing for the space in the center to be used for the booth crates and other storage. One end of the booth is curtained, to allow the storage area to be accessed during the show.

The STLE trade show focuses upon metalworking fluids and lubricants. Compared with STLE 2013, shown below, this design pushed the limits of the brand guidelines as written, following the spirit of the rules to create an immersive experience in the Dow brand. The color scheme (Dow red and gray) was chosen based on the prominent colors used in surrounding booths to ensure that Dow would stand out and draw in visitors.

The STLE trade show focuses upon metalworking fluids and lubricants. This show was done in the newly released Dow branding, and featured 4 main pillars that combine photography and illustration. This show used a selection of the brand colors and very closely adhered to the brand guidelines as released.

This is the first major trade show that Dow Personal Care did in the new Dow branding. Alex Barakat worked on preliminary booth mock-ups and decided with the customer that three of the panels should have silo'd photography over a brand-style illustration. I designed the illustrated panels: working with the customer to select an appropriate photo and then creating an illustrated scene to place behind it.
